The heavy rains have passed and work has resumed. The level of the building pad is been raised with heavy grade compacted rubble. Steel rebar is being prepared.
Bad weather this week has hampered progress. Workers haven't been able to arrive and the ground has been too wet to use heavy machinery. Some fill has been delivered & compacted.
The lot has been cleared where necessary and work is underway excavating sand to prepare a compacted rubble & subbase building pad.
The replacement window panes finally arrived and have been installed. The house has been cleaned top to bottom and painting of ceilings has started. All cabinets installed.
All sliding doors/windows, interior doors and cabinets are installed. Interior of guest house painted, likewise ceilings in main house.
The project was finished a few months ago, but the curtains only went up last week. So here are the photos of the completed, furnished home.

Double glazed Krombeplast windows arrive all the way from sunny Vladivostok via Guatemala and Casa Nova, Managua. Installation almost complete 5 days after delivery.
Just a few profiles remain to be installed and more than half the panes are now in. Corner mitered floor to ceiling windows in upstairs bedrooms. Mosquito screens due to arrive this week. Driveway area taking shape.
Steel rebar and form work complete for the swimming pool and swimming pool light in position. Work has begun pouring concrete for swimming pool walls.
