Panga Drops fairing better today on small swell and strong offshores.
Shoulder high, breezy offshore. Consistent.
Panga Drops the best choice this morning as the tide dropped. Head high, good form. The stars are aligning for a stellar week of surf starting Monday 21st.
Panga Drops working best with moderate sideshore breeze. Will be smaller the next couple days, Thursday & Friday. Slight bump over the weekend and series of powerful southerlies arriving from Monday 21st will see 5-star conditions through the end of the month and early May.
Waist high waves order of the day, again. After a brief HOT and calm spell the winds are blowing again and keeping a cap on the soaring semana santa temperature... pushing 100 degrees!!
Fun day at Panga Drops. Moderate offshores, surf consistent in the head high range. Looking small the second half of the week to come with uptick due Monday 14th for the start of the Easter vacations.
Winds have calmed and stronger swell gave for solid head high to overhead conditions today at Panga Drops. Swell outlook moderate the next 10 days with a thick southerly due in April 13th or 14th. The surf will be firing for the Easter holidays!
Strong winds to start the month. April tends to see the end of the winter winds and the some of the strongest southerlies. 2011 April played host to the strongest swell of the year.
Swell coming in stronger today. Unfortunately, so was the wind. Perfect early.
2-3ft fun. Should get good tomorrow...
Expected it to be smaller, but size was actually up Sunday. Sets coming in head high and some decent punch to some of them. Conditions expected to get good midweek on solid 17 second swell.
Small start to the month that officially marks the start of the Nicaragua Surf Season. Actual conditions were better than forecast; forecast was for it to be flat. Consistent waist to shoulder high.
Small today Wednesday and will be smaller still tomorrow, Friday. Looks like it may go completely flat over the weekend. HOWEVER.... March 6th through the middle of the month will be FIRING with a double tap of two powerful Southerlies. The first due in on the 6th. The second centered on the 13th. Swell Season 2014 begins.
Head high on sets, but inconsistent. Not much on the forecast through the rest of the week. March looks promising.
Small today. First half of March (from the 5th) will/ should be SOLID...
Consistent shoulder high, sets coming in head high. Light wind early, became breezy and clouded over mid morning.
Solid head high surf this morning on the falling tide.
Light wind, fun day at Panga Drops! The Nica weather & surf conditions are as predictable as they come. March typically sees the first of the southern swells. March 5th we have a respectable southerly due in.
Not much to get excited about today. Long range holds promise with the first swell of the season arriving March 4th.
Improved conditions today with less wind and swell coming in a little stronger. Looks like Weds/ Thurs could get fun. First solid 'surf season' swell appearing on the end of the long range, March 5th.
Enjoying the uptick. Not looking promising the rest of the week, but due to pick up a little Friday, Feb 14th and through the weekend. March just round the corner now and will mark the start to the 2014 Southern Swell Season...
Got fun on the rising tide midday. Lighter winds, great weather again.
Tiny waves once again made up for slightly by perfect weather. A few waist high waves coming in from time to time.
More size, less wind. Fun.
Great weather, not such great waves. Occasional rideable shoulders coming though.
Small and windy. Been like this a long time, long range not holding much promise.
Ankle high waves. Watching the howler monkeys much more entertaining.
