Heavy swell has every break up the coast pumping; a lot of fun today up the end of the beach at Los Perros point!! Should hold head high+ tomorrow Friday and will loose energy during the weekend. Swell outlook not great and high probability of unsettled weather especially toward the end of the week 24th, 25th and next weekend. The long range picture has improved marginally. Current model is indicating offshores for the arrival of the 21 second October 1st swell...

Day broke to heavy swell, but messy with light onshore wind and rain. The weather cleared mid morning on falling tide giving way to classic Panga Drops from 9am. This swell is expected to peak out tomorrow and hold decent size through Thursday.

Swell angle tickling the Panga Drops horseshoe just the way it like it; great form (especially on the rights) and a good deal bigger than Colorados. Swell angle expected to maintain a lot of westerly which bodes well for the next few days.

Forecast not spectacular, but should hold head high tomorrow through middle of the month. 2010, 2011 and 2012 August had the biggest swells and most consistent overhead surf of the year; August 2013 was a failure. Will be interesting to see if August 2014 lives up to expectations.
