⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem in the Perfect Location Villa Ohana is truly a dream: the location is unmatched, with a private walking pathway leading straight to the restaurant and clubhouse. It felt like our own slice of paradise. The home felt like a resort within a resort, surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden and absolutely breathtaking views. James and David were incredibly helpful, and Gloria kept everything clean. The area is peaceful, extremely secure, and full of charm. A true gem inside the luxurious gates of Rancho Santana. My family and I are so happy we found this home and can’t wait to return!

Villa Ohana provides a one of a kind vacation experience. We really enjoyed the location (close to Rancho Santana’s main hub, 3min walk to the beach, incredibly scenic views). Gloria and David who help meticulously maintain the property were very friendly and helpful. Gloria is an excellent cook so definitely inquire about her when staying. James was a very responsive host who helped out when we needed it. Definitely recommend getting the Rancho Santana resort passes so you can use their resort services on demand (rides to and from airport, great restaurants, tours/excursions, surf rentals, etc). Would (hopefully will) stay again!

We had a wonderful stay.  James was amazing throughout from planning our arrival from the airport to helping with suggestions on where to go and what to do.  David and Gloria were the greatest.  Gloria cooked us fabulous meals and David helped if we had any questions with the home or the surrounding area.  Villa Ohana was a great location, and very peaceful.

Villa Ohana is the hidden gem of the Rancho Santana property! We stayed there for a week for a friend's wedding at the resort and we were so pleased with our stay. The delightful walking path shortcut that leads directly to the resort for meals / massages was amazing. The wedding itself was right in the main grassy area at the resort, so we were able to sneak away and jump in Villa Ohana's pool in the middle of the wedding to cool off and get right back without being caught 😂. David and Gloria the caretakers of the property are amazing, always available to help with anything you might need. The rooms were all great and well kept. A/C's worked perfectly too! James the property manager was super responsive and helpful with any and all questions we had prior to the trip (I had A LOT 😬). 10/10, stay here. You're never gonna wanna leave the pool.

This place is great! James was exceedingly helpful in the weeks prior to our visit. Thank you James! The house is beautiful and the folks taking care of it are lovely. Everything worked well, with the exception of the WiFi which was slow and only really available in the kitchen — not a big deal for us though; we have phones for hot spots & it meant that we enjoyed the resort (and the cafe) for our early morning work calls. Being walkable to the resort’s main restaurant, cafe & tienda was great for us & our teenage kids. We paid the resort fee for use of the big pool, a few of the complimentary tours & the sand boarding. It was worth it for us to have the convenience (esp with teenagers…) but totally not necessary. The pool is beautiful and so well maintained. We spent HOURS in it, enjoying the gorgeous sunset & watching surfers. Quick tip: if you are a long boarder (or just getting started..) there’s a gorgeous chill surfing spot at Mag Rock. Taxi can get you to/from and you can rent longboards on site. They also do lessons; the same instructor I had for lessons at Rancho Santana was working there — if you do make it to Mag Rock, I recommend the less-fancy of the two rental spots; nice boards, people are chill and very knowledgeable.

Location, location, location. Villa Ohana probably has the best location at Rancho Santana. Up on a low hill, the house overlooks the surf break, tide pools, the sun set. The house is a minute walk from the Rancho Santana resort and Playa Santana. The pool is immaculate and delightful, and the star gazing is awesome. The grounds are gorgeous! The house itself is a tad tired, and a little dated, and there a few plumbing issues. The toilet didn’t flush in one bedroom’s bathroom, and one bathroom didn’t have hot water. Some locks don’t work, and there isn’t a whole lot of shade during the day. In the big picture, however, the villa served our group of adults really well, and we had a wonderful stay (I personally think this would be a hard house to stay in with children as all the bedrooms open to the outside, not to an interior). Housekeeper Gloria and caretaker David are really great. Gloria is a really good cook. For a very reasonable price, she made us some wonderful dinners(we did bring food with us). If you pay the resort fee of $17 a day per person, you can use the resort as if you are staying there(For example, you can sign up for bird watching tours, ebike rentals, or surf lessons, etc). At Villa Ohana, you are closer the main resort building than some of the resort condos. The resort is spectacular, and their beaches are gorgeous. The spa is absolutely wonderful, as were all the activities we participated in. They even have gorgeous pickleball courts.

Heavenly! Communication with James was excellent. David and Gloria were amazing- helpful, friendly, and took great care of us. The house is better than the photos indicate, and the pool was spectacular. It's a 2-3 min walk to the Inn, and I think it must be one of the best views in Rancho Santana. Note: The house layout is well suited for a particular type of family. You enter via a courtyard, and the house is a U shape. An outdoor corridor to the left takes you to the Master suite, which is very private. Walk to the right side instead, and the Queen and twin bedrooms are side by side with their own baths. This corridor is outdoors however, open to the garden and pool. So if you have small children you need to consider safety, because you can't lock a front and back door and be done. They could walk outside at night. We loved the layout- parents with adult kids. We loved the indoor/outdoor aspect, and it made it all feel more gardeny and tropical.

Amazing.    Location is perfect.  A quick walk to surf, and everything that the clubhouse offers. Great rooms and the view is magnificent.   Highly recommend.   Communication is great and Gloria and David were a great help. Gloria even prepared a great dinner for us..  👍👍👍

Home, Yard, and Groundskeeper are the best. My kids will never want to stay anywhere else now.

The house is unreal. Can’t beat the location and stunning views. It’s quiet, accessible, and situated perfectly (on the beach, and close to the Inn @ Rancho Santana). Definitely planning to return!

Villa Ohana is unlike any other property in Nicaragua. It is not just in the perfect location, but it is so well set up with the layout of the property and the design of the home. Spacious yet intimate. Highly recommend this venue no matter how long you are staying in the Ranch!
