This place is ideal
From London , Reuno Unido. May 08 2018 - May 11 2018
“If you're in El Astillero for the surf, this place is ideal. Walk out and you are by the beach break, 20 min walk from a relatively famous point break.
The place itself has one very spacious room and one normal bedroom.
Everything was clean, the housekeepers were very attentive and friendly, communication was excellent. Would definitely recommend.”

Quiet location
From Manly, Australia August 26 2017 - August 29 2017
“Quiet location on large property. Beachfront palapa great for yoga. Local staff are always available and helpful.
Nicaragua365 always respond to questions immediately and are super helpful. Surfed out front every day and once got a boat up to Playgrounds.
Internet works well as does a/c but I didn't need to use it as high ceilings and a fan are plenty for me.
Kitchen is well equipped even if you make elaborate meals! Only suggestion for this place is bring your bug spray as there is no indoor sitting area.
If you stay in the house with living room this is not an issue. I highly recommend staying here!”

Wonderful Cottage!
From Toronto, Cánada July 19 2017 - July 23 2017
“Nicaragua365! What a wonderful cottage right on the beach! We had sooo much space, and a wonderful kitchen! The place was super clean, and the staff was amazing! Even though our Spanish isn't the best, they were very sweet. We nearly had an entire conversation with Eveling using Google Translate! Iain speaks incredible English, and went out of his way to show us around. Share stories with us, and his culture. He even took us for homemade Ice Cream at his mom's place! If you surf, or want to do activities he is your guy! He will set you up with taxies, activities you name it for a fair price! The beach goes on for MILESSSSS! There are a couple little restaurants, but we chose to cook for ourselves. WE were very blessed to have Ernesto go grab us groceries on his motorcycle. Fresh fruits and veggies are quite a ways away. Being Digital Nomads, the Wifi was pretty fast, and it was quite a relaxing place to concentrate on our course we are writing. Taking breaks on the beach whenever we liked was also AMAZING! Thanks so much for sharing this place on Air BNB! We are avid users, and will definitely tell our sphere of influence! Also, if you want to stay connected, follow our Facebook Business Page! Search "BE Adventure Partners" and send us Friend Requests, as well! - Brian Garcia + Erin Nicole Bick”

Great Spot!
From Santa Barbara, CA July 10 2017 - July 19 2017
“This location is wonderful! The hosts offered to watch our stuff on the beach, bought fish for us from the fish market (much cheaper if they buy it for you), guided us on a night tour of the local turtle beaches where we got to watch an olive ridley turtle lay her eggs in the sand. Great spot for a couple!
Bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom are all private rooms that you have to go outside to move in between. Was not a problem for us at all! Kitchen has the essential cookware (but bring your own oil, spices, coffeee, etc.) and the place is kept nice and clean.
The caretakers speak Spanish and are happy to share any information with you. If your Spanish is not very good they are patient with people looking up words/phrases but do not know very much English themselves. Would come back to this spot for sure!
The waves in this area are fun and if you have a car there is much to be seen/explored in the area. Also make sure to ask about who sells what every evening on the Main Street. Some good food out there but takes a little searching to find all the amazing options.
The owners were also very diligent in checking in via email to make sure that everything was going well and to suggest activities as well. Great spot!”

House is Great!
From Bend, OR June 26 2017 - June 29 2017
“House was great...grounds were beautiful. Good to know in advance that there is not much in the way of restaurants or groceries in town so be prepared to drive for them.
Great access to surf. Very secluded and quiet beach. Overall I had a fantastic stay. Definitely would like to return. ”

Lovely Experience
From Weslaco, TX June 03 2017 - June 05 2017
“I stayed here for a couple nights and it was one of my favorite Nicaraguan experiences! The location is a bit out there but it is totally worth it! My boyfriend and I had the entire beach to ourselves, there was guards that watched the area 24/7, and there was a couple shops and a restaurant with fresh seafood down the street. It is a good place to get away and relax. I felt like I was somewhere not many tourists get to see...yet. Overall lovely experience! ”

Great Spot
From Roscoe,NY May 28 2017 - May 31 2017
“What a great spot. From the get-go James and David and Lain were all communicative and cool. We got lost on the way in and didn't arrive until 3am, but Ernesto - who is a great guy and host - was there to let us in and welcome us. The rooms are clean and tidy, the beds comfortable, and the little kitchen perfect for stashing and making your own food (even has a toaster and coffee maker). The grounds are beautiful, and the beach out front is nice. Plenty of good surf all around. Astillero doesn't have many foreigners hanging around, just a quaint little fishing village (although it's an easy drive to Popoyo and all it's touristy amenities) and the vibe for us has been nothing but welcoming. Oh, and there's a great hammock. What more could one ask for.”

Had a great Time
From California March 12 2017 - March 15 2017
“We had a great time in El Astillero at the casita. It was perfectly clean upon our arrival. Staff were very friendly.
The home is in a nice quiet location and close to the beach. Perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The rooms are very spacious, with great airflow when the windows are open. AC was great for the nighttime.
Nice location for surfers too. Lance's Left is a short walk away and Astillero has some nice breaks too. We will be returning one day!”
