An excellent condo in the bottom corner of a safe, gated community. The place is big and welcoming with a few excellent touches (we enjoyed the Bluetooth speaker as the sun set). There’s bags of space in the main living area as well as 2 amazing spacious bedrooms. The outside area is to die for though. Stunning view of the Pacific which you can hear in bed. And what a vantage point to watch the sunset. Super space with access to a shared pool and a short walk to the amenities in the main area. Marvellous

What a view! Great sunsets, calming ocean view and sounds. You walk downstairs and you're at the beach! We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was very helpful when we got a little lost finding our way to the place and also arranged massages and the masseuse I had was incredible (the best massage of my life!). We are so appreciative to have stayed in this place. Very special :)

I highly recommend these apartments if you are looking to stay in the hacienda iguana area. The price point is very reasonable considering it’s right on the beach. The view from our balcony was spectacular and all the special touches with the decorations from the host was really nice since it was mine and my gfs anniversary. Thanks!

As pictured/detailed. The space is in an ideal location, self checkin via code in the door is an excellent feature. Hola Nica is super responsive to any need. We can’t wait to stay here and/or with Hola Nica/ Nicaragua365 again!

We went in July and we will surely come back the place was amazing , directly on the beach with restaurent golf resort arround surf shop and amenities. The place was clean the host were quick to respond to any demand or question. The photo are not as much beautiful as is it there it’s incredible the beach was practically for ourselves long beach with horses ride if you want. It was really great.

The place was great, right on the beach with amazing views. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen had all that was needed to cook. AC worked perfectly in each room. WiFi was great, except for some odd reason it seemed to go out for a couple of hours each morning, though otherwise worked perfectly. Location is safe and secure. Not much to fault.

This condo is phenomenal. David was very attentive from beginning to end. Property was spotless, pool was very clean and location is superb. The description that is posted on the website is very accurate. Every room has a brand new AC unit, living room also has another AC unit. Kitchen and laundry room are very clean.

The place was even better than in the photos. Amazing location right on the beach. A bit far removed from local authentic restaurants to eat at but there are places to buy food nearby. Clean and well kept. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen although it would have been helpful to have some cooking oil/salt/butter in the kitchen. Overall, would highly recommend.

First and foremost, special shout out to David/James (hosts). These two were informative, quick to respond and all around great guys!

We really enjoyed our time here, the hosts David and James were extremely quick and accommodating when we needed anything. The property is situated in a way that you have total privacy from your balcony with the most stunning view of the ocean. All of the people on the grounds were warm and welcoming. And last but not least the surf sessions were magical, despite the winds. I would highly recommend the stay here.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the A4 condo at Villas Iguanas. The property is just as the photos depict and the view off the balcony is spectacular. If you view the aerial photo, A4 is the nearest corner of the nearest building on the top (second) floor. All appliances and utilities worked well. There is satellite TV though mostly Spanish language channels. We didn’t travel there to watch TV though!

Great location on beach, nice deck as pictured, close to surf breaks, good cooking utensils, was nice they supplied olive oil, salt and coffee. Saved us a walk to the market. Nice neighbors!

Perfect location on the beach. Amenities in the unit were unexpected. Fresh flowers upon arrival. A/C units work great. Also nice cookware and beautiful wine glasses. There’s even hot water in the shower. Let the hot run for a bit and it will be plenty warm. Another unexpected amenity is solar back up. The electricity went out one day and solar kicked in right away. FYI it doesn’t run the stove so if you’re in the middle of cooking breakfast. Speaking of eating out, Pili’s kitchen has excellent food. (The internet says it’s closed Saturday and Sunday but it wasn’t true. We let them know so hopefully it’s corrected) The bar 20 feet from it has a great happy hour. Also La Taqueria just north of the condo, on the beach by the volleyball net, has delicious food as well. Tacos, quesadillas and drinks. It’s associated with Rancho Santana so you can eat there but can’t purchase any goods in the gift shop unless you’re staying at the resort. Even with cash. Kind of odd. Very nice outdoor casual dining.

We had a fantastic stay in Hacienda Iguana. The view from the condo is amazing and there is a lot of space. Everything was good. I am looking forward to come back and live more beautiful moments with my family and friends.

Absolutely amazing place. Everything you could ask for. Location was totally safe, secure and the beach was beautiful. The host was very helpful and responsive. Anything I needed was addressed immediately. We decided to go with the meal plan. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was perfect. Every meal was crazy good and we were never ever hungry.

The pictures of the place are 100% accurate and the views are actually better in person. Great beach and pool. Nica365 arranged a driver down to Iguana; amazing service and well worth it! David is awesome and was super helpful with tips on the drive down. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Great property for two couples and maybe a kid or two, or more than enough room for one couple. Amazing unobstructed views of the beach and the rocky headland just north. A short walk up to the roof gives you a view of Panga Drops (bring binoculars) - a 5 minute walk away. Colorados is 15 minutes away on foot. You’ll want to rent a bike or motorbike to get into “town” or down to Colorados with a board as this property is the very last on the beach in Hacienda Iguana. If you like music bring a Bluetooth speaker as the one here doesn’t work. WiFi and AC work great. The power might go out but the backup generator runs everything but AC. The kitchen has pretty much everything you’ll need to prepare meals (minus the food). Close enough to the communal pool to be convenient but not too close so as to hear noise.

Overall, we were happy with our stay at Playa Iguana and would stay here again on a future trip.

Great location, fabulous views, and one of the nicest beaches in Nicaragua. The apartment could use some updating (screens, furniture, kitchen utensils, etc), but overall it is spacious, quiet, and very pleasant.

If you’re like me, you’ve been searching listings for a while. Well, you can stop. You found it. The perfect place for a great price. My husband and I spent a week here for our honeymoon and cannot say enough about the ideal surf location, the excellent service and the beautiful locals.

A-4 is a large condo with a roomy balcony and great views of the point and the Los Peros break.This was my second stay in 2017 using the team from Nicaragua 365 and they did great job as always. Iain took very good care us through out our stay and our food service provider, Gissele was outstanding. The unit also has a back up battery which is very helpful if there is an outage. Being a short walk down the beach to Panga Drops and 15 minutes to Colorado's makes it a perfect place to stay.

We had a great experience at this condo. The views from the balcony and master bedroom were beautiful. The balcony was the place to be. It had comfortable rocking chairs and a table to keep your books, drinks, and all your other goodies to relax. It was great to sleep with the windows open and listen to the ocean before going to sleep and first thing in the morning. We had the catering service and our chef, Jacqueling, cooked us delicious Nicaraguan vegetarian meals just as we requested. Ian, the concierge, was extremely helpful and available any time we needed him. We came with our teenage daughter, and she loved being able to easily walk to the ocean for a swim. There are also tide pools nearby that are cool to explore. One suggestion is to let them know not to come clean the condo so early (8 am) if that's not what you want.

Location is perfect. Right on beach. Internet was good enough to get basic work done. Food at Pili's down the beach was amazing (we rented a car to get there more easily). 3 min walk from amazing pangas surf break and 15 min walk from Colorados. Got epic surf all week. Staff was very friendly and place felt safe.

Beautiful beach and great views from the condo, which was very spacious and well-equipped! The balcony/veranda was definitely our favorite part -- very large as spacious too, and well shaded, so we could do yoga while watching the waves. It was wonderful to sleep with the bedroom doors and windows open. There are screens -- not always the case in every place we've stayed in Nicaragua -- so we could go to sleep and wake up with the sound of the waves. My only suggestion would be to know that it's a little bit of hike to the restaurants (there are three I think?) and little shopping area, so if you don't have a car, you may want to rent bikes when you get there, which makes it a lot easier to get around. We had a very relaxing time, which was exactly what we needed. We'll be back!

This is a beautiful condo right on the beach with a fantastic sunset/beach view. There's one smaller break right by the rocks you could see well from the balcony, but to look at Panga Drops you have to lean out and look left down the beach a bit. Colorados is on the south end of the beach, about a 15 minute or so walk (also where Pili's Kitchen is, which is a very nice spot for delicious food and drinks). We really enjoyed sunsets from the pool area as well, and it was nice meeting some of the neighbors (fellow travelers for the most part).

This is our second time staying in this specific condo at Hacienda Iguana and we've seen many of the other units here and elsewhere. I can say this is absolutely the nicest, best located condo you can find. And the services provided by the management and concierge are first-rate. This is the stress free vacation you are looking for everywhere else you've ever been. First of all, the location right on the sand with views unobstructed on both sides, is fabulous. You literally go to bed at night with windows open listening to the crashing waves and watching the moonlight glimmer off the water. It's 100% private on the second level and without neighbors on the north sides, which is a bonus. Also, where this condo is at this end of the beach is more peaceful than down by Hacienda Colorados - and for the non-surfers or families in the group, the gentler waves and sandy bottom break is great for swimming and boogie boarding here. The surfers can still walk to Panga Drops and it's a quick bike ride (def rent bikes) down to Colorados and the Beach Club there. The service here is fantastic - both times we've stayed we've gotten a meal plan and every-other day cleaning, which means you'll never do a dish or lift a finger while you're here. They stock your fridge with just about anything you need including snacks and all you need to get when they stop at the market on the way in is booze. They'll arrange anything you want to do, too - from dinner at nearby Rancho Santana, to horseback riding, bike rentals, ziplining, fishing trips and more. David and Iain respond immeditately to emails and help with anything.The only thing I can think of to improve things here would be if they stocked a few things in the unit like beach towels (we always buy them at the market and end up leaving them), beach toys, umbrella, etc. Boogie boards here would be fantastic since again we rent them every time. Love this place - we'll be back again before the year is up.

Had a great time staying here with my girlfriend and 2 other friends. Iain and David were great host and were very responsive to emails/texts. They can set you up with anything you want to do while staying there. The place is cool, everything was very clean and the views from the balcony and master bedroom are perfect. The cleaning ladies were awesome too, we had some dirty clothes out and she washed them for us which was very nice of her.

We cannot say enough about our vacation at Hacienda Iguana. The customer service was amazing. From our initial inquiry to check in the staff were prompt, helpful, and just amazing to work with. They made everything so easy and we're incredibly responsive to any need we had. They even brought our forgotten belongings to us in Grenada after we left. How amazing is that?

Our stay at Hacienda Iguana was more than expected. The accommodations were fanatastic. The view and beach were incredible. Too many things to do in the week we visited so will definately need to return to enjoy all that we missed. The beach hike to Gigante was a highlight as were the incredible sunsets from the comfort of our veranda. This is a fantastic destination for couples and families alike.

In my humble opinion this is the best spot on this beach. A private upper balcony looking onto the most beautiful view of the ocean! Perched on the end of the beach through a few security gates, yet still sharing the land with friendly local folks...what a hidden gem.
