Wow, what an incredible beach house! We spent thanksgiving at casa luminosa, and it was unforgettable. Hard to overstate how wonderful it is to have the ocean just steps away from your door, with the surf sounds lulling you to sleep every night. We definitely plan to come back.

We had a wonderful week at Casa Luminosa in Playa Colorado. The house was pretty and clean and exactly as advertised. Property manager was very responsive as things came up over the week. Daily house and pool cleaning was great. Would definitely recommend.

Casa Luminosa has it all. While our focus during the trip remained on the waves (which were pumping everyday with grooming offshore winds), we fully appreciated the beautiful amenities of this house. Clean, big kitchen with a great central bar area. Plenty of hammocks for lounging in the front yard, and endless ripe coconuts to keep us fueled in between surfs. this place is special and I look forward to my return.

The house was really pretty. It’s so clean and the view is beautiful. The pool was so nice and relaxing and the hammock and the chairs and really comfortable. Be prepared for lots of little crabs! The property was beautiful and well maintained.

The house was great! It's located right in the middle of panga drops and colorados, and is an easy walk to each break. The pool and outdoor area were perfect for relaxing after a surf. This place has everything you need! My friends and I hope to be back soon!

The Luminosa house on the beach is a great option and I would highly recommend staying here. With views of two great surfing breaks, the location could not be better. Maria the housekeeper kept the place super clean and the guys working outside kept the pool clean and the garden looking great. The host David was more than willing to help out with anything we needed and available to answer any questions.

Great location at Playa Colorado’s. Awesome house that was close to everything. Iain was on top of it and was able to accommodate anything we needed. Can’t wait to go back.

Great house!

Casa Luminosa was our second time to rent a house at Playa Colorado. We love this beach and the staff at Nica 365 are awesome. The house was perfect for our family of 3. Plenty of shady places to sit, pretty palm trees, kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the hammock. The beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water, and the internet worked great. Maria, the housekeeper, somehow, always stayed out of our way but managed to keep the house spotless for us. We rented a car this time and did our own shopping and meal prep or we ate at the great little restaurants right in Hacienda Iguana and nearby. Just can’t say enough good things about Nicaragua, this beach, this house, the waves, and Nica 365. Already working on a rental for next year...

Iguana is our happy place! We loved this house. Rooms were nicely equipped and nothing beats a hammock while looking out at the waves.

The villa is as advertised and the photos just do not do it justice! In person, the Villa is even better. You can see both Colorados and Panga Drops from the property. The infinity pool was amazing and who ever gets the upstairs master bedroom is in for a treat. Its a must stay for your next vacation.

We LOVED our stay at Casa Luminosa. It was exactly what we needed for our group of 5 although you could comfortably have 7 people here. We never wanted to leave.

We had it all at this place - surf, sand, ocean, a private swimming pool, and a housekeeper/cook - all within the private and secure gated community of Hacienda Iguana. We had an amazing vacation stay in this home. We enjoyed the private pool looking directly out over the ocean and the hammock every day. The house was tastefully furnished and decorated and totally made us feel at home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook every day and Maria kept the house spotless. The master bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The house manager, Iain, was always available to help, regularly checked in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything and had helpful suggestions. We had a great maid, Maria, who also cooked for us one of the days (extra cost but so very worth it!). We had a rental car and drove to the small town San Jorge one day to take the Ometpe ferry and to other nearby beaches a few other times too. There are three good restaurants within walking distance of the house. We loved the warmth and friendliness of the house management, staff and the community and can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting this area. It’s big enough to sleep 8, but it is also great just for two. Jeremy and Alicia from San Diego

My family of 6 stayed at this house for 10 days. The location was perfect with great surf, sandy beaches and pool overlooking it all. I can't say enough about how great it was dealing with Nicaragua365. James, David and Iain were able to coordinate everything we needed prior to and during our stay. We own a Vacation Rental and NIC365 level of service was above and beyond all other properties we've stayed. Absolutely take advantage of the meal plan. We LOVE Maria! Every meal she cooked, my kids would say that it was the best ever! Our family will be definitely be back :+)

We've been coming to Nicaragua to surf for the past three years and have stayed at Casa Luminosa every time.

Start to finish - staying here was a great experience. The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and directly on the beach as advertised. The location is perfect and the service is top notch. David, Iain, James, and their whole crew are extremely attentive, responsive, and considerate.

This house is even better than the pictures represent! We could watch the surf at Panga Drops and at Colorados from the couch or the pool, and even better from the upstairs balcony. It is very clean and spacious and comfortably accommodated 5 of us. Maria, the housekeeper comes each morning and keeps the house immaculate. There is a groundskeeper who cleans the pool each morning and is on site to answer any questions. And then there is Iain and David, the house concierges who make sure your stay is perfect! They arranged our transportation to and from the airport and arranged any excursions we wanted to take. Iain checked in regularly and made sure that we were all comfortable and happy. The service was top notch!! This was one of the BEST vacations we have ever taken. We definitely plan to return!!

Everything was perfect. House could not have been closer to the ocean. We awoke every morning to the sound of waves crashing.

Truly an amazing House with a lot of small details that really stood out to us. Location was fantastic and everything was within walking distance inside the community. I suggest a scooter like we had or a golf cart for community transportation. Service was too notch with Ian. He was funny and a pleasure to deal with. Maria was great with her cooking and cleaning and we really appreciated her help.

House was excellent, great location on the beach. Flowers on arrival was a nice touch. Staff looking after the house and guests were great. Silvio looked after up very well arranging fresh fish to be delivered to the house and guiding us on trips to Ometepe and Granada.

This was the best surf vacation. Maria in the kitchen is a must, two delicious cooked meals per day. Fresh fish delivered to the door, lobster... Awesome. Silvio can come thru with any request you can think of and quickly. The house was more than we could have imagined. Now for the surf, it was really consistent and fun. Silvio planned a boat trip to catch each spot at the right tide as well as miss the crowds and other boats. This place is the perfect set up for surf and relaxing. Thanks again.

We were at Casa Luminosa for New Years, and we are so happy we found this beautiful house at such a peaceful beach! It is a surfers beach, but you can totally go with small children, we were two families with kids from 9 months old to 7 years old, and we had no problem with the waves, we spent a lot of time at the beach

Don't miss this one if you are headed to the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua, specifically Tola.
