Great house. We felt at home. And James is very responsive and pleasant. The pool was cleaned by the attendants several times while we were there. The pool was definitely fun! The beach is very close and accessible - just down a path behind the house. You’ll definitely need as truck or SUV. We learned the hard way my renting a cheaper sedan and it took us twice the time to get on the main road. I would visit again.

Beautiful and very spacious house. We were able to go down the little path to go to the beach. We climbed the rocks and it was just stunning. Great for pictures. The beach was spectacular. The pool was great and very clean. Power went out and the generator was started immediately. The host suggests a 4x4 to get to the property. You NEED a 4X4. Follow the location that James sends and it will take you directly. If you want a private place, this is it.

Great place to get away! The home is completely surrounded by beautiful jungle and lots of animals to see. There’s also a nice hike to a whale watching point. Very secluded if you’re looking for peace and quiet.

Perfect Property for a beach front quite stay!

We stayed here over Christmas and had an amazing time. The house was beautiful and super comfortable, you almost felt like at a hotel. The beach is a jewel, the water was pristine and very private. Even though the house doesn’t belong to the resort, their staff and guards were extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Tola!

The property was located about 3.5 hours from Managua/Masaya/Granada region, when using the main highway 62, as it is undergoing reconstruction. It appears the road will not be done for a least 12-18 months (2025), so it's recommended to drive directly to RIVAS then back-track up to TOLA area. The entrance is a "service" entrance with limited signage. Arrive during the day, and signs will be visible. Once past the entry guard, the dirt road is not lit and traverses loose dirt/rocks with steep inclines/declines. A capable vehicle is highly recommended. The home is clean, spacious and well built. Each room has A/C. The kitchen contains very basic items, and purified water is included. You will need to bring napkins, basic condiments, ice. The back patio is heavenly, and each sliding door is screened. For those who don't religiously close screen doors (ahem children!!), be prepared for various wildlife to enter, such as Alacran (scorpions), crab, geckos and our favorite, mosquitos. There a lots of towels and clean sheets for use by guests, and bath soap is provided. Unfortunately the beach is a 3-5 minutes drive down. There seems like the home was built with a direct path, but, it is now overgrown and use is prohibited by the owners. The beach is incredible, despite that use of any of the structures is also prohibited. As a bonus, there are also tide pools, which is a must-see.

I loved my stay at this house. The pool was amazing and the house was great. Only bummer was no direct path to the beach and the listing pictures were a bit dated. I wish the host would have told me that the house was equipped with a gas bbq instead of being advised to take charcoal which was not needed and was an extra expense, but overall house was excellent.

Villa telle qu’elle est présentée, c’est-à-dire grandiose, Alfonso et Maria qui s’occupent de la maison sont très gentils et toujours proches si on a besoin de quelque chose et on répond très rapidemement aussi via Airbnb. La plage est un lieux magnifique! Il faut aimer être dans un endroit isolé, intime et prévoir des produits contre les insectes à l’extérieur, en tous les cas en saison humide.
