The Accommodation
This fully air-conditioned condo has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious open plan kitchen/living area, a well furnished balcony with direct ocean views, and a dedicated laundry area with full washing facilities. The condo is furnished and equipped to a high standard including an eclectic blend of antique & locally produced hard wood furniture, imported Italian ceramic floors, granite work tops throughout and linens of fine Egyptian cotton. The condo also benefits from high speed, wireless internet and a fully automated stand-by generator.
Six World Class Surf Breaks - no kidding!
Our condo sits approximately 500 yards back from Playa Santana's main peak, of which there is a direct view from the master suite window and the balcony. Playa Santana is a fast, hollow wave that barrel's both left and right. Heading south the other breaks in the immediate proximity include Playa Rosada, Panga Drops and Colorados. Playa Rosada is a point break that works on bigger swells and gives fast lefts across the picture perfect Playa Rosada bay. Next up is Panga Drops, a deep water reef that works year round. And 500 meters further along is Playa Colorado which is gaining the reputation of being one of the top 10 beach breaks in the world. Access to Panga Drops and Colorados is easy as there is a car park at the southern end of Rancho Santana from which the walk to the breaks takes 7 and 12 minutes respectively. Heading north the first series of breaks you'll get to are at the Popoyo reef - first the outer, then the inner. The walk along the beach to Popoyo takes about half an hour, which is about the same as it takes to drive.
